We are so honored and humbled to have been awarded the Jewish Education Young Pioneers Award 2013!
We are proud to announce that Shmueli Perkel, founder of Jewish Drum Tales and Musical IQ, has won The Jewish Education Project 2013 Young Pioneers Award! Every year, The Jewish Education Project awards five forward thinking educators who are redefining how Judaism is taught, learned, and lived. Their concern is that Jewish education remain relevant and compelling with all the technological and social advances of our time. The Jewish Drum Tales program was rewarded for its innovative use of music and rhythm to bring Judaic stories to life, revitalizing age old traditions in an intrinsically organic way.
Recipients of the award will be honored at The Jewish Education Project Celebration Benefit, a Dinner and Cocktail reception at the Museum of Jewish Heritage on June 4th. We are looking forward to this opportunity to network and collaborate with other pioneering Jewish educators. We hope that we can collaborate to ensure that Jewish youth continues to be inspired by reinvigorated, innovative Jewish educational programs.
