This is an amazing INTERACTIVE music activity! It is one activity that our campers really enjoyed-and this included the children with autism that usually do not especially love to interact with others. The kids all sat and followed along! It was truly amazing to watch!
I highly recommend Musical IQ-especially to programs geared for children with special needs. It is not a typical music activity where the kids just listen to music and dance. It is an amazing activity that the kids enjoy while they listen to music, follow directions, bang on their own hand drums, and enjoy being in a group setting. It is not too stimulating and gives the kids a great time while they each sit, relax, and get to play with their very own hand drum. Thank you for this phenominal activity!!Perry Binet – Camp Mikdash (Under the Auspices of Human Care Services) – Summer 2013 – Narrowsburg, NY -
“Jewish Drum Tales brought the story of Purim alive for our students. Instead of just hearing the story, they were active participants in the telling. They worked together in unison creating a shared Purim experience that just cannot happen in the same way inside the classroom. The room was set up beautifully which added to the excitement as the students walked into the room. The sound of so many children drumming together in unison was truly moving!”

We had nearly 50 children in the room, from 1st graders through 7th grade, and they were all mesmerized and involved. The children played simple and complex drum ensemble pieces, they answered questions about the Passover holiday, and they were enthralled with the storytelling. The combination of great music and great stories is powerful and memorable. I hope to have you back next year for another fabulous program!”
